Come Be A Fly On The Wall

Welcome to a Fly on the Wall group post. Today 14 bloggers are inviting you to catch a glimpse of what you’d see if you were a fly on the wall in our homes. Come on in and buzz around my house.

*It amazes me how much things change in a month. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we had to move back to Kentucky. It absolutely sucks! But, we are making the best of it.

*I got hired at a local company here in town. I'll be working full time, Monday through Friday. My title is that of claims processor. I enjoy it, so far. But, there is some mommy guilt.

*We also bought a new car, though not because we wanted to. Miss K, our van, decided she didn't want to run anymore. Boooooo *sigh*

*We have been staying with my Dad since we got back. That hs been an adventure. I love my dad, but I am SO ready to be in my own place again!

*Yesterday, Boy and Girl Child turned 10. I have 10 year olds....me! It makes me sad to know my kids are growing up.

*Speaking of kids growing up, we are DONE with back to school shopping. First time in a long time EVER that we have been done this soon. All three kids will be in the same school, as Lil Bit starts Kindergarten this year. Check out their awesome back packs!

*Now, a list of things that annoy me:
- People who stop in the middle of the aisle at the store.
- People who act like they own the store and cut you off, then block the aisle.
- People......haha
- Slow drivers in the fast lane.
- Drivers who wait to till you are right up on them, then cut you off.
- People that don't have kids, that try to tell you how to parent.
- When people drink all the milk and eat all the breakfast stuff I buy for the kids, leaving them without.

I know there is more, but I'll save them for next month.

Now buzz off and visit my friends!

  2. You really are my poster girl for making the best of it. Moving, moving back, quitting a job, finding and startig a new one, purchasing a car, backpacks, breakfast stuff.... and all this in no time!! Admirable! I still hope to read the whole thing again soon, including "finding your dream house"!
    Happy Birthday again, big kids!
Oh, and I'm with you on that list...

  3. Having to move can be a not fun situation, but it sounds like you are making the best of it! It sounds like everything is falling in place for you and your family. :-)

  4. Congratulations, Twinnie, on the new job! I'm sad for you that you had to leave the Mitten. I hope you'll find peace and happiness in Kentucky.
Happy, Happy Birthday to your twins. Ten is huge!
I'm very jealous that your school shopping is done. You are on fire!

  5. Well it seems that we are annoyed by the same things. Except the last one, mine would be "kids who think that one certain cereal belongs to them and no one else in the house has a right to any."
Congratulations on the job. Hope you love it.

  6. I figured out the issue and so glad I can comment now. Happy Birthday to your 10yr olds...that is a big change, but you are going to rock and make it through. Great backpacks

  7. We got lucky this year. Our younger two get to do a County-wide shop with a friend thing, so we only have to buy new clothes and backpack for one. Of course, it's B and will require more, since he's in... junior high. Ack!

People annoy me, too. Not my bloggy friends. I should rephrase. Stupid people annoy me - the ones that are purposefully obstinate. It's like, "Hello?"

  8. New job, new car, new start. Life is an adventure! Now all you have to do is wait and see what's around the corner. Hopefully a new house ;-)

  9. Loved your list of things that annoy you -- I just wrote a post on pet peeves and my number one is S L O W people. Let alone those that stop in the grocery aisle with no thought of what is going on around you. In Washington state they just passed a law to ticket people in the left lane that won't pull over into the right lane so people can actually pass them YEAH
